Where Refined Taste Meets Everyday Living

Where flour dusts the countertops, macarons cool on the rack, and something good is always in the oven.

The Pink Cottage was born out of a simple but deeply held belief: that beautiful food should be for everyone. Every macaron, scone, and madeleine that leaves our kitchen is gluten-free — not as an afterthought, but as a promise because you shouldn't have to miss out on the magic.

We are a French-inspired cottage food bakery tucked into the heart of East Texas, baking in small batches with big love. Our eggs come straight from our own backyard hens. Our recipes are tested, tasted, and tested again. And everything is made by hand — by us.

Meet the Makers

Jennifer (founder & head baker)

Jennifer started The Pink Cottage with a dream that looked a lot like a cozy French kitchen — the kind where the windows fog up in winter and the smell of something buttery-sweet fills every corner. A writer and lifelong lover of beautiful things done simply, she brings the same care to her baking that she brings to everything: intentional, unhurried, and made to nourish.

When she's not perfecting a new recipe or dreaming up the next chapter of The Pink Cottage, you'll likely find her deep in a book.

Emily (baker & macaron specialist)

Emily is the magic behind every perfectly smooth macaron shell. Equal parts artist and baker, she has a gift for turning simple ingredients into something that feels like a little celebration. The daughter half of this mother-daughter duo, Emily brings precision, creativity, and an eye for beauty to every tray that comes out of the oven.

A true homesteader at heart, she also tends her own backyard flock — which means the fresh eggs going into our baked goods come straight from her hens to our kitchen. She's building something from scratch in more ways than one.

A Bakery, a Booth & a Bigger Dream

Right now, you can find us at Culpepper's Country Store in Henderson, online, and the Henderson Farmer’s Market — a little pink booth that tends to stop people mid-stride. But the dream is bigger than a booth. One day, The Pink Cottage will be a place you can walk into: a shop, a gathering space, a little corner of the world where community is baked right in.

Until then, we'll keep the oven warm.

Thank you for being here. It means more than you know.
